Belgian Waffles

By Landry,

Belgian food is healthier and fresher than American food or Canadian food. according to unlockfood.ca Canadian food is sometimes very toxic because they use a lot of GMO’s[1] (Genetically-modified organisms) in the food.

Belgian waffles is a dish that I always liked, especially from stalls on the streets. You can eat it as a dessert or as a snack. I can only eat one meal, but 5 desserts because I love sweet dishes.

Ingredients :

380g flour

15ml baking powder

A pinch of salt

30ml sugar

2 eggs

380ml milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Sugar powder

Put the flour[2] , baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl and stir the ingredients with a whisk. After doing this, add the eggs, milk and the vanilla extract and batter it with the whisk until it becomes even.

Warm up the waffle iron and grease it with oil or butter. When the waffle iron is warm enough, fill it up with the mixture and close the waffle iron. When the waffles are brown, take them out and put some sugar powder on top of the waffles.

Now, you can start devour them!
