There are many differences between Canadian food and Chinese food. The main difference between these two countries on food aspect is taste, Canadian foods taste more dry than Chinese foods. Another big difference is the foods from my country have wider variety than Canadian foods.

Although we have so many excellent foods around the world, I think Yangzhou fried rice is a classic one among all of the foods from China. It requires high quality rice and difficult fire control. The taste of this food shows how capable the chief is. Yang Zhou Fry rice represents culture of my country and perfect combination between rice, meat and vegetables, it also the most famous Chinese food.

A recipe from China: Yang Zhou Fry



First you need some appliances



------ Three bowls

------ A egg-beater

------ A knife

------ A wooden spatula


Ingredients that you need

------- 2-3 eggs

------- 1 cup of Rice

------- Two ham sausages

-------- ¼ cup of Shrimps

-------- A piece of Lettuce

-------- Two scoop of Olive oil

-------- A pinch of salt

-------- Three scoop of Soy

-------- One scoop of Shallot

-------- Corn and green peas


How to make Yang Zhou fried rice

-------- First step is to beat eggs into liquid. Dice the ham, shallot and lettuce.

--------- Step two is pouring Olive oil in the pan first, adjust to low flame and put liquid eggs in after. Use wooden spoon when eggs get all crumb like and fry it. After 3 or 4 minutes, you place them into a bowl.

--------- Step three is to fry chopped Ham, Shrimps, Lettuce, Shallot, Corn and green peas in the pan and wait until it cooked.

--------- Last step is to put rice and crumbed eggs into the pan and fry it with rest of ingredients. After few minutes, you can sprinkle a pinch of salt and soy sauce in it and this can make this food taste better.
