The recipe of Fried Bread Stick

Fried Bread Stick

In China, we eat foods together but in Canada they eat more individual. I choose the food called Fried Bread Stick. This is my favorite food for breakfast and it is easy for the people who want to learn about Chinese food.

Appliances: bowl, rolling pin,oil pan and cutting board.

Ingredients:

Flour 300g(strong flour is better)

Water 170-180g

Yeast powder 5g

Baking soda 2g

Oil 15g

Salt 3g

1.Put the flour in the big bowl and mix it with yeast powder, baking soda, and salt.📷

2.Put some water into it to make a dough (do not add water at once, add it in several times)📷

3.Add oil into the dough and knead it. 📷

4.Cover the bowl and let it stand for 10 minutes with plastic wrap.📷

5.Use rolling pin to make it to a 0.5 cm thick circle. Then cut it to a 10 cm long by 3 cm wide rectangle. 📷

6.Drop it into oil pan to fry it. After the color of dough becomes gold, it is finished.
